REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

1. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Locate the oil pressure sending unit on the engine.
3. Disconnect the sending unit electrical harness.
4. Unfasten and remove the sending unit from the engine.

   To install:

5. Coat the new sending unit with Teflontape or electrically conductive sealer.
6. Install the sending unit and tighten to 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm).
7. Attach the sending unit's electrical connector.
8. Start the engine, allow it to reach operating temperature and check for leaks.
9. Check for proper sending unit operation.
